FAQs
Our training plans are designed to help you excel in two main categories of cycling events:
Time Trials: We offer a range of plans specifically focused on Time Trial improvement, designed to build your strength and stamina for the race against the clock.
Gran Fondos: We also have dedicated plans to prepare you for completing your first 100-kilometer or 100-mile Gran Fondo endurance event.
For Time Trial plans, you can choose based on your weekly training volume. We offer options for those who can train “4-5 Hours Per Week,” “5-6 Hours Per Week,” or a general plan for those with “Limited Time”.
For Gran Fondo plans, you select based on the total duration of the training block. We offer plans that are 10, 12, 14, or 16 weeks long, allowing you to pick one that fits your event timeline. Individual plans will offer how many hours per week there is in terms of training time.
The Gran Fondo plans vary by two key factors: the target event distance and the total length of the plan. You can choose a plan to prepare for either a 100-kilometer or a 100-mile Gran Fondo.
Within each distance, you can select a training duration that best fits your schedule, with options ranging from 10 to 16 weeks.
Our Time Trial plans are differentiated by the total plan duration and the weekly time commitment. You can choose between a 6-week or an 8-week training block.
For each duration, you can then select a plan based on the hours you can train per week, with options for “4-5 Hours Per Week,” “5-6 Hours Per Week,” or a more flexible plan for those with “Limited Time”.

Success stories
Dan - 1:1 Half Distance Triathlon Training Plan
“I used an Efficent Endurance 3 month training plan. I found this super useful and without it I don’t feel I would have made the improvements I have.
It provides you with a super detailed plan of each workout session and why you are doing it.
I will be training with Efficient Endurance again this month and definitely will be again in the future.”
STATS: Completed his first half distance triathlon – Outlaw Half Holkham in 5:43:36
Isaiah Caceres B - 5K Swim Training Plan
My event was a 5k open water swimming at Oceanman Curaçao. The swimming plan worked just perfect.
I ended with energy and swimming with technique the last quarter of the 5k, which is a very good parameter for me since was my first time in this distance and I was nervous about finishing strong. And last but not least, I secured a slot for the Oceanman World Championship in the 5k distance since I finished in the top 6 of my age group. I really liked the scientific approach of this training plan.
Thank you very much!
Jen V - 100 Mile Ride Training Plan
I wanted to take a minute to say thank you for your awesome training plan and for helping me work through the technical challenges I had early on.
I’m happy to say I successfully completed my Century this past weekend! (Well, 106.8 miles to be exact, but what’s an extra 7 when you’re riding 100!)
Hernan G - 10K Swim Training Plan
It was rough conditions, 6-7ft swell in some areas and quite choppy. I could hardly keep a decent technique , But I finished!
